Kyle makes these mashed potatoes+ every Thanksgiving. They’re a hearty blend of several root vegetables, but you can pick and choose which you’d like to include!
Ingredients:
Potatoes
Rutabaga
Turnips
Parsnips
Milk
Butter
Herb of choice (chives, sage, parsley)
Directions:
Cut root vegetables into 1″ cubes.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, add cut root vegetables, cover, and simmer over medium-low heat for 20 minutes.
Once vegetables are fork-tender, drain water. Add milk and butter to potatoes. With a hand masher, mash to desired consistency. Top with herb of choice if desired (I like sage!).
